Patrons’ Dinner

As a board member of the Nemeth Art Center, I'm honored to support Nemeth's mission of connecting local and non-local artists, fostering dialogue across diverse perspectives, and advancing creative placemaking in rural northern Minnesota. I advise on strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, program development, and storytelling. I bring particular strength in designing signature events.

In summer 2025, I helped lead the strategy and coordination of the Nemeth Art Center’s annual Patrons’ Dinner — introducing new layers like a silent auction, artist talk, art sale, and a fresh lakeside location. It was the first time these elements came together in one evening, and I was proud to oversee the planning, logistics, and storytelling that brought it to life.

Held on the shores of Big Mantrap Lake, the evening featured works from past exhibiting artists, a locally sourced dinner by chef Kristin Tyborski, and conversation among artists, organizers, and supporters. With the momentum of a Warhol Foundation grant and a mission to decentralize the art world, the event celebrated the role of contemporary art in rural communities — and the patrons who help make it all possible.
